Loughnanes Joinery were delighted to complete a project for Trinity College, Dublin, back in 2016 and 2017. Loughnanes Joinery was commissioned to supply and install oak, fire rated ceiling & wall panelling at the Global Brain Health Institute and Stack V, Trinity College, Dublin.
Located in Dublin’s city centre, Trinity College is Ireland’s highest ranked university and one of the world’s top 100. It is home to the famed Book of Kells and counts among its alumni the writers Oscar Wilde and Nobel laureate Samuel Beckett, Nobel laureate scientist Ernest Walton and the former President of Ireland and UNHCR Mary Robinson.
The development was constructed by Monami and designed by architects McCullough Mulvin. Loughnanes Joinery manufactured bespoke fire screens, FD 30 fire doors and FD60 fire doors all from Oak. Also, some acoustic doors with required, DB ratings of 30db to 40db were manufactured. Throughout this building fire rated oak acoustic panelling reduced noise in the college corridors and lecture rooms.
Loughnanes Joinery have a wealth of experience in Fire Doors and Acoustic doors and panelling both in the UK and Ireland. Loughnanes Joinery have completed a number of projects both in Ireland and the UK, to view more of these projects please click here.
