In 2013, Loughnanes Joinery was commissioned to carry out joinery works for the Reagan Presidential Suite of Ashford Castle.
Following this, in 2014, Loughnanes Joinery was commissioned to supply and install fire doors, vanity units and bespoke furniture in the hotel’s 20-bedroom Victorian Wing.
The architraves surrounding the bespoke entrance fire doors to the bedrooms of Ashford Castle were made up of about 30 individual components.
In 2015 Loughnanes also supplied a complete fit-out of the 57 bedrooms 70’s Wing, including bespoke internal architectural joinery doors, bespoke decorative architraves, customised vanity units and wardrobes.
What makes Ashford Castle special is that no two rooms are the same, each bedroom has been carefully designed. Loughnanes Joinery was in a position to offer Ashford Castle different colour shadings for each vanity unit, as we have our own spray facilities.
Loughnanes Joinery was nominated as the sole contractor for joinery in the multi-award winning spa, which included bespoke doors, changing facilities, wall panelling and treatment room furniture.
In order to get the finish required, each door once manufactured, had a further five stages in our sprayroom to get the stressed, Turkish look. With backlit mirrors and clay moulded inserts in locker doors, Loughnanes Joinery brought the vision of the Red Carnation Hotel Group and its designers to a reality.
Loughnanes Joinery was also commissioned to supply and install bespoke, freestanding display furniture in the hotel’s cafe and souvenir store, Mrs Tea’s Boutique and Bakery and completed a 24 room fit-out in the Lodge at Ashford Castle.
